A charming escape in San Juan

The location was unbeatable, just a short walk from bustling streets and cozy cafes. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we felt right at home.

However, the shower pressure was a bit weak, which was surprising for such a lovely hotel. The terrace also felt crowded and could use some organization.

There was no WiFi, which was quite inconvenient during our stay. The Limited lighting in the room made it difficult to find things at night. Additionally, I found water dripping from the ceiling right next to my pillow, which was extremely bothersome and affected my sleep quality.

Great location, but tricky parking situation.

Oh man, the food scene around Villa Herencia is straight-up delicious! Ambrosia Restaurant is just a hop away and has some scrumptious bites. Plus, the hotel is super charming, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. The AC was a lifesaver in the heat, and the double shower heads were a nice surprise that we didn't see coming!

Now, the downsides? The doors could really use a lock upgrade. we could hear our neighbors chatting away like we were in the same room. The floors could have used a little TLC too.

This was a fine choice for taking strolls in San Juan with outstanding value for money. The rooftop seating area was perfect for napping between outings. Be prepared for some quirks since this place is older.

Staying here was a delight, especially given its proximity to landmarks like san juan bautista cathedral just a few steps away and the vibrant paseo de la princesa within easy walking distance, making city strolling a true pleasure. I also loved the charming rooftop area where I could relax after a day of discovery.
